Since June 29, 2024, the date of the inauguration of the Monumental Forest, 450,000 visitors came to discover the 13 works that lined this 4 km route in the national forest from Roumare to Canteleu. It’s a record! As a reminder, the first edition, which was held between 2019 and 2021, welcomed 400,000 visitors. This open-air exhibition, free and open to all, has been praised by many national and international media. The works are currently being dismantled, with the exception of the giant by the Danish artist Thomas Dambo, a perennial work that will continue to bring the spirit of the event to life. Regarding the other works, some will continue to shine in the metropolitan area!  

The "Chaumes" structure is recovered by the commune of Canteleu and the "Sangliers" by the commune of Malaunay to be reinstalled there. Le Gland" is generously offered by the artist to the lycée Colbert, whose students had participated in the creation of certain pieces in the studio as well as in the assembly/disassembly of the work." Camels" was bought by the Éco domaine du Plessis, a patron of this work. For the other works, they are recovered by the artists in order to be resold or to recycle the material (metal, glass) for other projects.

The Metropole Rouen Normandie and the ONF would like to thank the visitors and patrons of the exhibition. Faced with this success, a 3rd edition of the Monumental Forest is confirmed. At this point, the location and time period are still being studied and validated.
